BeUpstanding

BeUpstanding has practical tools and information for people who work at desks and their employers.

It helps people conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) manage the risks with sitting and standing

BeUpstanding at home

More people are working from home after the events of 2020.

If your business includes workers on these arrangements, you must manage the risks from sitting and standing at home.

That means:

  • updating your policies and procedures

  • consulting with workers about risks at home, including sitting for too long.

The BeUpstanding guidance includes a toolkit with fact sheets, videos and email templates which are tailored to desk-based workers working from home. Go to the BeUpstanding website for more information.

BeUpstanding trial

When you sign up to the BeUpstanding trial, you get support to lead your organisation to:

  • reduce overall sitting time

  • increase standing time.
